The La Giganta mountain range corridor represents the most intact part of Baja California Sur! Saving this region as a new biosphere reserve would preserve an amazing volcanic landscape in which unique life forms have evolved.

This tour starts at our staging area in Nopolo and follows the coast of the Sea of Cortez for 45 km, the tour then enters the Sierra Giganta mountains this tour goes thru the mountains and stops at the mission San Javier. Then returns to Loreto for a 176km loop.
