San Juanico is a fishing village in Comondú Municipality, Baja California Sur, Mexico, located on the coast of the Pacific Ocean on the Bahía San Juanico. Originally a primitive settlement used by fishermen from a larger pueblo at Cadeje, legend says American smugglers and surfers noticed the Bahia’s waves in the mid-seventies.

This tour starts at our Nopolo staging area and crosses to the other side of the Baja. It passes through the historic town of Mission San Javier. Various options are available to make this day longer or shorter. The end destination for this multi-day tour, on day one is the surfing/fishing village of Scorpion Bay/San Juanico. Many options are available to make this a trip up to 5 days long.
